About the ShelterBox
ShelterBox delivers emergency shelter and other lifesaving supplies to help families begin to rebuild their lives after losing their homes and possessions following a natural disaster or humanitarian crisis.
ShelterBoxes for Future Disasters and Crises
You can help us prepare for the next inevitable disasters by making a donation to support a ShelterBox. Each ShelterBox
is custom-packed depending on the needs of those affected by the disaster but often contains a family tent, water filter, blankets, cooking and eating utensils, tools, children’s activity pack, mosquito net and other items. To support one ShelterBox kit, a donation of $1,000 (US)
is required. However, we accept donations of all sizes, which are compiled with others to fund an entire box. If you choose to support a ShelterBox, you will be assigned a box number, which will allow you to see where it was delivered.

The ShelterBox Solution Fund
In some cases, families may need specific aid items rather than a whole ShelterBox so our aid is sometimes not packed in boxes but sent in bulk. Donations toward the ShelterBox Solution Fund
allow us to procure and deliver all types of emergency supplies—depending on the needs of those affected. (Donations toward this fund are not assigned a box number.) Learn more

MADE A DONATION TOWARD A SHELTERBOX AND RECEIVED A BOX NUMBER?
SEE WHERE YOUR SHELTERBOX WAS DELIVERED.
ShelterBox aims to provide donors with information about the disasters and communities their support has helped. We assign each box a unique number so donors can see the disaster and country to which it was delivered.
ShelterBox also believes the generosity of our donors should be recognized and celebrated.
