I am thrilled to be an Ambassador of Shelterbox to support their critical mission to provide shelter in a post disaster situation. Their cause is particularly important to me because I see every day through my work in ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) how climate change is displacing vulnerable communities across the world. My challenge was just how to contribute effectively. My solution.. attack that challenge with a challenge. So, my first venture into fundraising for Shelterbox will be a work week in the saddle… the bike saddle that is. I am calling it the 50 by 5 as this year I turned 55. My husband, an avid biker, will join me in a 5 day loop around southern Sicily where we will cover 250 miles over 5 days beginning on November 6th and ending on November 10th. No doubt he will be waiting for me along the way and cheering me up the hills. What will really motivate me though is all of you and your generosity to Shelterbox. Thank you for caring and sharing.
